Tropical Writer’s Toolkit Workshop Announced for 20-25 February

December 28, 2017 by briangruber No Comments

On the heels of September’s epic Write Your Story in Paradise workshop at the Sanctuary resort, another opportunity for fun, transformation and creative development.

The Tropical Writer’s Toolkit will be a unique, immersive five-day experience of writing classes, creative exercises and interactive workshops that will hone your writing skills and give you a broad range of vital new tools.

Give us five days in beautiful Koh Phangan, Thailand, and we will provide the stimulation, community, learning and environment for recharging your creative life.

Here’s what you will experience at the stunning oceanfront, poolside Mermaid Villa:

  • An integrated, inspiring writing experience.
  • Daily writing workshops with themes from Unlocking Your Best Work and Marketing Yourself as a Writer to How to Create Value as a Writer, with focused modules such as self-publishing, crowdfunding, interviewing, visioning and personal storytelling.
  • Learn from two industry pros (myself and Kaila Krayewski) with 20 years experience in content creation and marketing, publishing, travel writing and creative mentoring.
  • Morning poolside yoga and sunset meditation sessions with a stunning oceanfront view to jumpstart the creative juices.
  • Oh, and Koh Phangan’s premiere Thai masseuse, veteran of 10 years at a five-star resort, will be on-site each evening to ensure you are relaxed and flowing.
  • Three daily nutritious and flavorful Thai meals cooked by our private chef.
  • Luxury accommodation in Mermaid Villa (for first five sign-ups) and Loyfa Natural Resort.
  • Luxurious oceanfront learning space for workshops.
  • A private pool for quick refreshment during break times or after sessions.
  • A Certificate of Completion.
  • A workbook with class notes and exercises to take home.
  • SPACE IS LIMITED so register today.

Gruber Media In New Koh Phangan Location

by briangruber No Comments

The company (i.e., me) has relocated from its previous secluded beach to a new location on Koh Phangan, a delightful island in the Gulf of Thailand. The new location is a quarter kilometer up a hill from Taboon restaurant in ‘downtown’ Sri Thanu. I sit above a tropical jungle with a view of the nearby Gulf. It’s a great spot for writing, planning and supporting clients.

I first visited the island six years ago to complete my novel “Dauphin, Dorian and Dead.” After traveling around the world for “WAR: The Afterparty,” I settled on the Cambodia coast to write the book. Once the book was published, I moved here to Phangan. More photos coming as soon as the rains stop. Come visit sometime.
